This project was realised in 2013 in London, and is inspired by the underground culture of using public spaces as art galleries.
The works are created exclusively inside a small living room converted into a studio. Once completed, they are displayed in the Liverpool street area, one of London’s busiest streets.
In these photos, it is precisely those urban elements, such as the rubbish pail in which the painting of the sleeping girl lies, that reveal and complete the story that the work conceals, involving the viewer in a complicit glance between public and private, between licit and illicit.
